These horses will remain at the rescue for the rest of their days. The all have special needs and have been chosen as pasture buddies only.
Grandpa
Granpa is a lucky boy and has two co-sponsors that pay his monthly bills! Yay!! He gets 8 pounds of Equine Seior twice a day and a big bucket of soaked alfalfa cubes twice a day with oil and sunflower seeds added. He has a few teeth, but cannot eat hay at all. He is also one of my stalled horses. Thanks Mike and Diane for supporting him!
Morgan
Due to Morgan's arthritis, I have changed his status to "Sponsor Only" He is out on pasture only right now. Hay cost for him at $3/bale/day is $90. I will add supplements, for joints, etc. as soon as the frost comes out of the ground and I can add individual paddocks for specialized feeding needs. I will post the cost of those as soon as I start giving them. My stalls are full and he's out with the big group for now
Jadah
Jadah is a Bedouin Desert Arab. She is one of three remaining mares going back to a particular desert arab stallion. She was blinded in two separate unfortunate accidents, nothing genetic
